Itinerary


Day 1: Arrive New Delhi / Mumbai
On arrival in Delhi / Mumbai, you will be escorted by our representative to your hotel. O/n in Hotel. (Rooms will be available from 12:00 PM)

Day 2: Delhi/Mumbai-Nagpur By Flight / Nagpur-Pench (90 Km / 2 Hrs Drive)

Morning transfer to Airport to board your flight for Nagpur. On arrival in Nagpur, meet our representative and drive about two hours to Pench National Park. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. In the late afternoon enjoy a Safari in the park for tiger & other wild life. O/n in Jungle camp.
Pench National park, located in the lower southern picturesque of satpura hills & is named after Pench river, which flows from north to south through the Park. Many writers like Captain Forsyth, A.A.D. Brander, R.A. Strendale and Rudyard Kipling have all mentioned Pench in their books as the place with rich and beautiful flora and fauna. Pench was declared a Wildlife Sanctuary in 1983. Today, the park is the 19th Tiger Reserve in the country and takes pride in its tigers and other wildlife. The total area under the Pench Tiger Reserve comes to about 758 km, out of which a core area of 299 sq km is the National Park and 464 km the buffer area. There is high density of the wild pig, chital, four horned antelope, tigers & many others. The park is also rich in bird life with 125 species like barbets, bulbuls, minivets, orioles, wagtails, waterfowls, blue kingfishers & many others. There are many rare varieties of herbs and grasses in this region that are known to be of medicinal use. At the southern boundary of park, the Pench river has been dammed for Pench hydroelectic project at Totladoh.

Day 3: Pench-Kanha (230 Km / 5 Hrs Drive)

Early morning enjoy the safari & later back to Camp. After breakfast, drive to Kanha National park. Kanha National Park is one of the most beautiful and well managed of all national parks in India. The picturesque Kanha National Park was the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling's unforgettable classic Jungle Book. On arrival check into the lodge & relax. Late afternoon explore Bamni Dadar, the interesting attraction within the Park is popularly known as Sunset Point that offers a wonderful view of sunset. Here you also see the animals like Sambar, Barking Deer, Gaur and the Four Horned Antelope. O/n in Jungle lodge.

Day 4: Kanha
Early morning & late afternoon do the jungle safari with a naturalist guide by Jeep. O/n in Jungle Lodge. Kanha National Park is home to over 125 tigers in its famous landscapes of sal forests, meadows and surrounding hills. Apart from supporting a viable population of the tiger, the National Park has also distinguished itself in saving the highly endangered hard ground barasingha (Cervus duvauceli branderi) from extinction, and has the unique distinction of harbouring the last world population of this deer species., Within its boundaries can be seen Bluebull, Barasingha a relative of the Swamp deer, Sambar, India's largest antelope and the rarely seen Sloth bear. Also see the birdlife is prolific with over 300 recorded species with common sightings of Indian rollers, Racket-tailed Drongos, Yellow-wattled lapwing and the magnificent Golden Oriole. There are elephants in the park especially for visitors and what they call a 'Tiger show'.

Day 5: Kanha - Bandhavgarh (270 Km / 7-8 Hrs Drive)
After breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh. On arrival check into the lodge & relax. O/n in Jungle Lodge. Bandhavgarh National Park is famous for its large number of Tigers & it’s located among the Vindhya hills of Madhya Pradesh with an area of 168sq miles (437sq km) it contains a wide variety of other game & habitats. This is also the White tiger country. There are 32 hills in this part of the park, which has a large natural fort at its center. Bandhavgarh Fort, The oldest fort in India - considered more than 2500 years. The charm of this visit is discovering these monuments in the jungle, unspoiled and unexplored. Also see the three small temples of around the 12th century. The natural ramparts of the fort give breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside.

Day 6: Bandavgarh National Park
Early morning & late afternoon do the jungle safari with a naturalist guide by Jeep / Elephant. In between these jungle safaris, enjoy jeep safari for Bandhavgarh fort. It is different from game drives in which safari jeep goes to hill-top where historical monuments can be seen along with overview of Bandhavgarh forest. It is special as it offers drive to hill top, special point for bird watching, trace to history. Bandhavgarh fort is located inside Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. O/n in Jungle Lodge.

Day 7:Bandhavgarh – Panna (250 Km / 6 Hrs Drive)

Morning after breakfast, drive to Panna. Panna is famous for its diamond mining industry & Panna National Park, which has an area of about 543 square miles (1,406 km²). Panna National Parkis known for mainly for its tigers, other species found here are the blue bull, sambar, caracal, wild dog, sloth bear, chital, wild boar, wolf and leopards. It is also home to more than 200 species of birds including the Bar-headed Goose, the Honey Buzzard, the King Vulture and the Blossom-headed Parakeet. On arrival check into the lodge & relax.

Later in the afternoon visit the Ken River & enjoy the Boat Ride on the mesmerising river ken & see the crocodile. Also visit the other attraction of this region is the Rajgarh Fort, a magnificent piece of architecture overlooking the valley.

Day 8: Panna
Early morning & late afternoon do the jungle safari with a naturalist guide by Jeep. O/n in Jungle Lodge.

Day 9: Panna - Khajuraho (50 Km / 1 Hrs Drive)
Morning after breakfast, drive to Khajuraho. It is famous for its enchanting temples & its erotic architecture, built by Chandela dynasty thousand years ago. The name Khajuraho is derived from the Khajur tree (the date palm tree) which is grown abundantly in the region.

On arrival check into the hotel & relax. Later visit the famous Western group of temples are designated as the World Heritage Site and is enclosed within a beautifully laid out park. The Lakshmana and Vishwanath Temples to the front and The Kandriya Mahadev, Jagadami and Chitragupta Temples displays the best craftmanship of Khajuraho. O/n in Hotel.

Day 10: Khajuraho-Delhi By Flight
Morning after breakfast, visit the Eastern Group of Temples comprises of two historic Jain temples – the Adinath Temple lavishly embellished with sculpted figures, and the Parsvanath Temple, the largest Jain temple, sculpted with charming details. In the last visit the Southern Groups of Temples & later, transfer to Airport to board flight for Delhi.
